I purchased a 1993 Ford Mustang 2.3 LX convertible on 6/27/16. (This car was purchased AS-IS) Today I just got it back from the shop, and was notified that it either had a cracked head, or a blown head gasket. I payed $1000 for this car, and understand what comes along with a low price. However, this car was driven less than 400 miles. I had a a very trusted local shop take a look at it, and was told they were fairly certain that sealant had been used to mask the problem temporarily. This could have been from wherever the dealership got the car from, or they could have done it themselves. I called the dealership today, to notify them of the problem. No concern was given. The man I spoke to acted like a child caught with their hand in the cookie jar. He was not polite about it, and really didn't seem to care. I was literally told, "that's what you get when you buy a cheap junk car". Like I said, I understand that it was an AS-IS purchase and that it was a low priced car. However, it didn't last 3 weeks and I didn't receive any help at all from the dealership who duped me.
Great staff, very helpful
I stopped in at 1000. Told them I would call back around Noon. They said they would be ok with that. So I called back at 12:40 and it had been sold. Talk about customer service. Thank God, it was an over priced rust bucket anyway. I suggest go any where ANY WHERE else.
Nice cars
